⛯ WHAT'S WHAT

This site is split into major categories - ABOUT, WORLD, SPECIES, LORE, CHARACTERS, GALLERY, and OTHER. Within each are different main pages for different topics, and within those are more links to more pages with greater levels of information or obscurity. You can see the dropdowns above, which is how you got here! The major categories should be self explanatory, but just in case it isn't too clear;

  • ABOUT - About the site itself, main resources, overviews, general information.
  • WORLD - About the way this world works, the logic, the locations, materials/items, and in general stuff you need to know to have an idea of the continuity.
  • SPECIES - About the species and people of this world. Also includes information about altered states, machines, and various corruptions.
  • LORE - About the events, stories, and situations of the canon world. This is the important stuff when it comes to understanding the narrative(s).
  • CHARACTERS - About the actual characters within the stories, histories, and overarching world. Includes mythology!
  • GALLERY - Extensive gallery and links to images of the concepts, places, creatures, and characters of this world.
  • OTHER - Everything miscellaneous or hard to put into their own category, but still big or important.

    Below are explanations and links for the major categories within each section.

    WORLD

  • MAGIC SYSTEM - It's simple, yet vast! Go here to learn about Psionics, Aether, and the in-universe arguments about classifications and delughtful alien elemental pedantry.
  • WORLD LOGIC - Go here to learn about the limits of this reality, why some things are the way they are, and why time travel will never be an aspect to this world. Time travel always muddies it up.
  • REALMS - Go here to learn about the "Realms", the layers of the universe of the Ocean that behave differently - yet intrinsically affect one another!
  • PLANETS - Every species has a home! Come here to learn about all of the origin life-worlds, "summon source worlds", and other important stellar objects.
  • TOOLS / ITEMS - Also includes important materials! Go here to learn about strange substances, weapons, magical tools, and legendary artifacts.
  • ALTERED STATES - Come here to learn about the plot-driving corruptions and altered states that one may enter - usually never under normal circumstances.

    • SPECIES

  • KRAIZEN / VANI - The main stars! Likely the most extensive and detailed page ever. I have a decade+ worth of lore for these guys, and there will always be updates, additions, and extra tidbits. Come learn about the ring-eyed, boss-monster aliens of vast morphology!
  • DRAGONS - You know 'em, you love 'em! But in Hypnofantasma, they're quite different. Come learn about the silk-spinning, pupating, concept-based dragons!
  • EVERCHANGERS - Also known as the "Kraizenians", these species are the odd Kraizen-relatives born of the Realms (Planars) or other strange events in deep history! They are equally vast in appearance... albeit with extra caveats and conditions and stories.
  • ALIEN SOPHONTS - Another meaty page - get it? Meaty? Biologicals? ...Aaaanywaaay, here's where you find all your "playables". Sophonts are creatures of human intelligence or more - meaning civilization, and panspecies cohabitation is possible!
  • DEMONS - This would be mainly about the Reznaxan. Demons are corruptions borne of Aether and Arta. A highly dangerous force, indeed; the way they rip and tear at the fabric of reality...
  • MACHINES - Everything robot. Machines, Amplifiers, Autom minions, cyborgs, androids, artificial intelligences - ...the fun fantasy kind, at least.
  • OTHER - Here's where you find all your animals, plants, fungi, and other non-playable species that still make up a large part of the universe and its planets.

    • LORE

  • TIMELINE - Contains an in-order list of every publicly known major event.
  • FACTIONS - Explains and describes every single faction/"side" currently in the Ocean. This is not a cut-and-dry good vs. evil situation, and there are MANY facets and prspectives out there!
  • THE BRANDSHOCK - Everything about the eponymous Brandshock. The Vani, how other species reacted, how they act now... the whole mess.
  • THE R.C.M.F. - Everything about an ancient, database-forming, entity-containing organization called the REZNA AND CORRUPTION MANAGEMENT FACILITY (in English). Vast and thorough, they are.
  • THE FANTASMS - Everything about what the Vani are actually doing, the effects of the Fantasms, and how they work and are dealt with. Vani, Tether, Amplifier, Minion...
  • KERATASA - Aside from its entry in the Planets section, it has a LOT more lore than the rest. It's a... rather storied planet. There's a lot more to this "Crossroads" world than you'd think!
  • OTHER - Every other miscellaneous bit of lore one can think of goes here!

    • CHARACTERS

  • OVERARCHING - Characters important across the entire main story. Importantly, the Tetrarch is here.
  • STARS BELOW - Characters in the Earth-based story, with werewolves and magical mystery continents and Fantasms galore.
  • TERMINAL CYCLE - Characters in a dragon-based story, featuring my main and oldest character, Leiru.
  • MINDLESS PARADISE - Characters in the Pre-Brandshock story that tells how we even got in this mess in the first place.
  • UNCHOSEN - Characters in a Keratasa-based story, somewhat a sequel to Terminal Cycle.
  • GODS - All of the godly entities of this universe. There's a lot.
  • MYTHOLOGY - Collection of mythologies, both Kraizenian, Draconic, and more.
  • OTHER - Every other possible character of mine in every other miscellaneous story. Gets pretty exhaustive.

    • LORE

  • RENDERS - Gallery of official character, species, etc. renders. Renders in this case being key arts that are refined and show a cool pose. The "main art".
  • MUSIC - Collection of my music! You can listen for free here and on YouTube, but any donations to support me are DEEPLY appreciated!
  • MODELS - Collection of screenshots and image renders of character 3D models.
  • ENVIRONMENTS - Artwork that depicts the world itself to get a good idea. Also includes things such as maps and layouts.
  • DOODLES - Everything else. I doodle. A lot.
  • CONCEPTS - Outdated art kept as archive. DO NOT USE AS REFERENCES! These are PURELY archival for nostalgia and world evolution's sake!

    • OTHER

  • DATABASE - Exhaustive database link list for everything under the Ocean's suns.
  • REFERENCES - Compiled references for the creatures and places, typically for size. Also references and explanations for things that connect this fantasy world and the real world.
  • RESOURCES - Resources to help with this world, both for universe-specific things and also in-general helpful bits and sites that are good to use for creature creation and understanding science.
  • GLOSSARY - Glossary for all of the terms used within the universe that have specific or unique meanings!
