Hello! Welcome to my weird little worldbuild - er, it's actually not so little, is it?

HYPNOFANTASMA is my paracosm. It is a vast, strange, and personal world of fantasy, sci-fi, and horror elements, all wrapped up in weirdness that's been in my head and heart for decades now. Despite that personal nature, I'm dying to show the world my world!

Do you like dragons? Aliens? Monsters? Demons? Magic? Science? Werewolves? Logic? Things going wrong? Things going weird? Controlled chaos? You've come to the right place - this universe has everything, and I spend my time working out all of the logic, intricacies, and inner workings of this universe to make something truly special!

Our universe focuses on a species known as the KRAIZEN, a psionic boss-monster alien species where no two individuals look alike - and their struggles after a tragedy known as THE BRANDSHOCK turned them into the immortal, world-energy-eating VANI. These Vani have gathered into legions under group of four tyrannical siblings called THE TETRARCH who each want a different, new reality to be born with the materials of the universe. And they will accomplish this... by using the rest of us for their reality-breaking plans.

    Please be aware that this story contains all manners of dark subject matter, and is intended for ages 16+ - with many aspects being 18+. Below is a list of major warnings to please be aware of.

  • VISUAL - Bright colors, strobing lights, hypnotic patterns.
  • GORE - Blood, organs, maiming, torture, disembowelment, scarring.
  • DEATH - On-screen death, major character death, animal/child death.
  • RELIGION - Religion in general, religious trauma (namely Catholic/Christian in general), cults, rituals, spirituality, the afterlife, finality.
  • SEXUALITY - Some 18+/NSFW topics, scenes, artwork, and discussions.
  • SEXUAL ASSAULT - Some depictions and discussions of sexual harassment and assault, including against queer characters and by queer characters. Depictions of characters suffering SA symptoms and trauma, some of which are front and center main characters.
  • AUTONOMY - Themes of hypnosis, mind control, brainwashing, and erasure of agency and autonomy.
  • ABUSE - Themes of abuse and manipulation.
  • MENTAL ILLNESS - Depictions of mental illnesses, many from traumatic events/lives. These characters are not perfect. There is also depictions of self harm, both physical and mental; some characters have maladaptive coping mechanisms that are not to be seen as cute.
  • BODY HORROR - Some designs and character shticks involve body horror, including but not limited to: many eyes, spider-like bodies, flesh in the wrong places, "glitching" flesh, melting flesh, characters being turned unnatural, characters transforming their entire bodies, characters fusing, and more.
  • COMMON PHOBIAS - HYPNOFANTASMA features many common phobias front and center because I like their aesthetics. These include, but are not limited to: spiders, clowns, machines, deep-sea animals and spaces, needles, angels, demons, lots of hole clusters, eyes/being watched, things melting, bugs in general, and more.
  • COGNITO - Cognitohazards, infohazards, knowledge- and vision-related afflictions. Reader discretion is advised.
  • UNREALITY - General unreality, 4th-wall breaking, meta characters, derealization, fake realities.
